College girls to attack annual Star Search En Masse

Christian College girls plan to storm Geelong’s premier talent quest En Masse in both name and number.
The secondary students have been honing their craft as a vocal group at various functions including church services and weddings in the lead-up to Star Search
College tutors Madison Brown and Anna Ballinger have been coaching En Masse weekly as the group prepares to contest Star Search’s vocal category.
The girls, studying years nine to 12, will compete amid a field of 14 vocal and instrumental entries at the Rotary Club of Highton event.
Prize money totalling $4500 will be up for grabs.
A Rotary spokesperson said tickets for the 38th annual Star Search are available from club members or by emailing malison6@bigpond.net.au.
Star Search begins 7.30pm Friday 30 May in McAuley Hall, Sacred Heart College, Aphrasia St, Newtown.
