Roadworks at a residential development south of Geelong will close a link between the city and Torquay for five months, according to City Hall.
“As part of the Armstrong Creek Growth Area project, developers are constructing a new signalised intersection at the corner of Warralily Boulevard and Horseshoe Bend Road,” a statement said.
“To enable the works to proceed Horseshoe Bend Road at Armstrong Creek will be closed to all traffic from Tuesday 19 July to Friday 16 December.
“Detours will be in place for the duration of the full road closure and will be signposted.”
The City said anyone who wants more information about the works should phone Newland Developers’ Mathew Fleischmann on 9271 5330.
