Obese man robs take-away at Corio

Police are hunting an overweight man who robbed a take-away at Corio.
The man was allegedly armed with a knife when he entered the Princes Highway restaurant, shortly after 7pm on Monday.
He stole a “substantial amount of cash” before leaving on foot, Victoria Police said.
The man allegedly ran across the freeway toward Rosewall Estate.
The man is described as Caucasian, heavy build and 182cm tall and was wearing a light grey hooded tracksuit top and pants, black runners and had his face covered,” police said.
Investigators released images of a man who they believed “may be able to assist with inquiries”.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at crimestoppersvic.com.au,” police said.
