CCTV cameras catch man stealing CCTV cameras at Norlane

A thief has stolen security cameras from a welfare agency building at Norlane, according to police.
But one of the cameras was able to help investigators before it disappeared, snapping an image of the alleged crook in action.
He made off with four closed-circuit surveillance cameras from the Diversitat premises in Arunga Ave, about 3.25am on 30 May.
The haul was worth $1436, police posted on Facebook.
Investigators wanted to identify the male pictured at the time because they believed he would be “of assistance in the investigation”.
Anyone with information should phone First Constable Rohan Wills at Corio Police Station on 5275 9555 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
