POLICE are currently at the scene of a fatal truck crash in Meredith.
Investigators believe a truck was travelling on Meredith-Steiglitz Road when it lost control on Coopers Bridge about 7am.
The truck has then travelled down an embankment and ended up in the river.
The male truck driver, believed to be aged in his 50s, died at the scene.
Meredith-Steiglitz Road is expected to remain closed for most of the morning.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route.
