One dead, two injured at Norlane

A 68-YEAR-old Corio man has died after colliding with a car at Norlane.
He was crossing Melbourne Rd near Sparks Rd when a northbound car struck him just after 11am today.
The man died at the scene, according to Ambulance Victoria.
The female driver of the car and a female passenger, both in their 20s, were taken to Geelong hospital.
One of the women suffered head injuries and the other sustained a shoulder injury, both are in a stable condition.
A report will be prepared for the state coroner.
The death took the state’s road toll to 154, one more than for the same time last year.
