CAMERON Guthrie has become the latest young gun to sign a new contract with the Cats, the club’s website has announced.
The silky-skilled midfielder agreed to a three-year deal tying him to the club until the end of the 2018 season.
“I was pretty keen to hang around and play some good footy for the club, and hopefully that contains a premiership, which would be outstanding,” Guthrie told CatsTV.
“I think the fact that so many other players have signed on with the club shows there’s good loyalty from both the club and the players.
“It’s an exciting place to be around. The team’s playing some great footy and it’s great to be a part of it.”
