Car hits woman at GAWS, man bailed

INCIDENT: A car struck a woman at Geelong's animal shelter yesterday.

A 19-YEAR-OLD Belmont man has been charged with a series of offences after an incident in an animal shelter car park at Moolap yesterday afternoon.
Police alleged he struck a woman with his vehicle at Geelong Animal Welfare Centre.
Police charged him with unlicensed driving, reckless conduct endangering a person and resisting arrest.
He was bailed to face Geelong Magistrates Court on 18 September.
Police said the injured woman was taken to Geelong hopital for treatment of head and abodominal injuries.
She was in a stable condition today.
