Pushy little thug

An armed robber carrying a tyre lever pushed a 33-year-old woman to the ground before snatching her purse, detectives have alleged.
The man had his head partially covered by a helmet as he approached the woman, who was walking along Detroit Crescent, about 2.30pm on Sunday.
Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives said the alleged offender pushed her to the ground causing her to strike her head and sustain minor injuries.
He then snatched her purse and ran to Quebec Avenue where he fled on a green road bike, they alleged.
Detectives described the man as Caucasian in appearance and 175cm tall, with a slim build.
He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, dark jeans, bright blue runners and a bike helmet with a large cobweb pattern.
Detectives released CCTV images of a man (pictured) they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
They urged any witnesses or people with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
