FIRESIDE Fab is Jack Rabbit Vineyard code for toasty winter comfort, entertainment and le vin, with few delivering it better than Geelong songbird Angie Hilton with her Australian Kylie Show.
Hilton, together with guitarist Sam Cocking and a phalanx of hot dancers, will kick off the Bellarine Peninsula vineyard’s Fireside Fab series of concerts on 27 June.
Hilton’s Kylie show continues to enjoy rave reviews, with every aspect replicated and finessed strikingly, including costumes from live performances, choreography, music and Minogue herself.
Jam-packed with Minogue’s hits from the past three decades, Hilton described the show as a fun outing for all concerned.
“It has all the hits, from the classics to a couple from her newer material,” she said.
“But most of the time people want to the classics to sing along and dance to.
“We like to keep the show fun and colourful and interactive and always encourage people to bring their best dance moves.
“We might invite someone up to join our little entourage and maybe dress them up a bit.”
The evergreen Hilton – a remarkable singer in her own right and a well-known TV travel show presenter, said the winery’s winter attributes were hard to match.
“It’s a magnificent location and I’m really looking forward to playing there.
“It’s a beautiful venue with great food and beautiful wine – to have all those ticking the boxes is tremendous. People can relax into the night and enjoy the fireside in the thick of winter, all but toasty and cosy.”
Hilton will take The Australian Kylie Show to Jack Rabbit on 27 June, with the $90 entry including a three-course meal.
