Esther Anderson has dated Cats skipper Joel Selwood and captivated soapie audiences across Australia but now she’s destined for the big screen in her first feature-length movie.
After finding fame as a policewoman on TV’s Home and Away, the Geelong beauty is back on the beat as a feisty detective in Broken Contract.
“It’s a strong, confident, smart character with a cheeky side to her,” Esther tells the latest edition of Geelong Coast magazine (GC).
“It’s a bit of fun for me.”
Esther, who turns 35 this Friday, spills the beans on her professional and personal life to John Van Klaveren in a four-page GC spread.
Living in Los Angeles, working in Western Australia, getting back to Geelong when she can – that’s life for one of the city’s most glamorous products.
“It’s important for me to come home regularly, so I’m happy to be working again in Australia.”
Full of local people, places, issues and ideas, GC is the region’s best glossy lifestyle magazine.
GC is out now at all good local newsagents.
