Timely turkey helps Janet feed 25 for Christmas lunch

Winning a turkey came just in time for Geelong Indy reader Janet Watson Mathews.
With 25 to feed at her Highton home for Christmas lunch, Janet said the tasty bird would be a welcome addition to her menu.
Like most Talkin’ Turkey winners, Wendy was surprised to be one of the five entrants to claim a weekly prize.
“This sort of thing never happens to me,” she told the Indy.
The other weekly winners were Barbara Fordem, Melissa Donaldson, Leanne Donovan and Phyllis Rea. They were among numerous entrants who found five turkeys hidden in separate ads in last week’s Indy.
Talkin’ Turkey is giving away five turkeys a week before Christmas. Entrants can identify fewer ads with turkeys but priority for the draw goes to entries with all five.
Talkin’ Turkey finishes in the 18 December edition of the Indy, so readers have two more weeks to win a prize in time for Christmas lunch.
Entrants must be able to collect their turkeys from A Cut Above butcher in Corio Shopping Centre.

The entrant’s name and phone number must be included.
Entries for next week’s draw close at noon on Monday.
