In the wash-up, knowledge wins Shop Local award

IN-DEPTH product knowledge and the right advice have won December’s Shop Local Geelong Customer Service Award for Ross Parke The Good Guys.
Megan Ehrig, who recently moved to Clifton Springs from Manifold Heights, nominated The Good Guys after buying a washing machine from “delightful” staff member Tanya West.
“Tanya’s excellent product knowledge was most evident,” Ms Ehrig wrote in her nomination.
“I emerged feeling well-informed, persuaded and confident regarding the wisdom of purchasing this product.”
Geelong Mayor Keith Fagg presented the award to Ms West and proprietor Ross Park.
“Congratulations to Tanya for her excellent customer service,” Cr Fagg said.
“Enthusiasm and pride in your work is applicable to all areas of life and sets a great example to others.”
Mr Parke said The Good Guys team was “privileged” to win the monthly award.
“The Shop Local program is fantastic and its focus on the highest standards of customer service is certainly what we strive for daily
“We aim to keep our service benchmark going higher all the time”
