THE GLITZ and glam of the ’70s will burst back to life in a one-night-only party extravaganza at Geelong’s The Pier this month.
Organisers said Living in the Seventies would feature guests wearing the way-out fashions of the decade in The Hopetoun Room from 7.30pm to late on June 25.
“Partygoers will arrive on a red carpet where they will be appraised for awards including Best Dressed and Most Authentic Costume.
“Then they’ll get down to the sounds of the ’70s amid the psycheledic lighting and mirror balls of Geelong’s grooviest-ever party.
“Sponsored by European Affair and organised by LP Communications event management students, Living in the Seventies will boogie against the backdrop of Corio Bay in Geelong’s funkiest party venue.”
Organisers said limited tickets were still available through Geelong Performing Arts Centre for $95, which included finger food, beer, wine and soft drinks.
The Independent is a sponsor of Living in the Seventies.
