GOLDEN Plains Shire has the worst ambulance code-one response times in the state, according to an interim report into Ambulance Victoria.
Nine per cent of the shire’s code-one calls achieved the 15-minute target response time, the report found.
Response times for Golden Plains averaged around 25 minutes.
Borough of Queenscliffe was the fifth worst in the state, with 22 per cent of code ones managing the 15-minute target.
Average response times for the borough were more than 21 minutes.
Surf Coast Shire’s average was more than 18 minutes, while Geelong’s managed to achieve the 15 minute target by 29 seconds.
