One of Geelong’s longest-running fundraisers has attracted the cream of Geelong’s sports talent.
Geelong Cats coach,Chris Scott, players Tom Hawkins and Steve Johnson and Melbourne Vixens star Tegan Caldwell will hit the fairways in an annual Give Where You Live golf classic.
The capacity field for Give Where You Live’s major charity fundraiser will help build on $1 million already raised over 21 years.
Organising committee chairman Gary Hill expected another successful event.
“Every year has been a winner in terms of raising much-needed funds for Give Where You Live. This year should be no exception,”he said.
“We conservatively estimate we will finish the day with another $80,000 for people who need it most.”
The 21st annual E&S Trading Golf Classic will be at Torquay’s The Sands on.
