Police nabbed one of their own at 56km/h over the speed limit in Wallington last week.
Officers intercepted the off-duty Victoria Police member after detecting their speed at 156km/h in a 100km/h zone on the Bellarine Highway about 7.20pm on Friday.
The leading senior constable, who is from the Western Region, is expected to be charged on summons with speeding offences.
Victoria Police notified its Professional Standards Command as per standard procedure.
