Enterprising for Geelong

Enterprise Geelong is a City of Greater Geelong initiative dedicated to supporting local business and helping the local economy to grow.
It is the point of entry for businesses seeking to establish, grow or invest locally and makes doing business easy through positive leadership, collaboration and innovation
Business owners are invited to help their business thrive by tapping into the many events and resources offered.
Held from August 1 to 31, the Geelong Small Business Festival is a great opportunity to network and learn with a comprehensive schedule of events, including webinars, seminars and workshops.
There’s also the Enterprise Geelong website, which provides a summary of economic, industry and demographic data to help business owners with business planning and forecasting.
Finally, the Geelong Business Calendar acts as a ‘what’s on’ guide for local business featuring events, functions, seminars and workshops.
The next event on the Enterprise Geelong calendar is a seminar, titled ‘Financing your business – what you need to know about raising capital’.
Hosted by Enterprise Geelong and Small Business Victoria, this seminar will get business owners up to speed about where – and how – to source the right finance for their business.
The seminar will take place from midday to 2pm on Tuesday March 20 at 100 Brougham Street, Geelong. Cost is $20 and registrations can be made by phoning 5272 5138 or emailing mflight@enterprisegeelong.com.au.
