Buckets and bouquets

BOUQUETS to Boomaroo Nurseries for giving a gift voucher of free meat and Lara Quality Meats for giving a chicken to St Laurence Park residents. Their kindness was appreciated.
Grateful Pensioner, Lara

BUCKETS to the three drunk bogans who managed to sneak into a show for free at a northern suburbs hotel and staggered around in front of the stage waving stubbies in the air. Hopefully next time you will be caught by security and ejected.
Not Impressed, St Albans

BOUQUETS to the beautiful lady who witnessed me poking my credit card in and out of a ticket machine outside the hospital, only to have it rejected constantly. She just handed over $4 and said Merry Christmas. You were a life saver because my autistic son had broken his leg. I passed on the generosity the next day when an elderly lady was short of money for her groceries.
Happy New Year, Lara

BOUQUETS to the honest person who found my son’s wallet lost in Breakwater on 19 December. The wallet was handed in to police cards and money still inside. There are still good honest people in the world.
Grateful, Highton

BUCKETS to a butcher for failing to write down our Christmas ham order in November. When we came to pick up the goods you unhelpfully tried to make your problem my problem. Thanks to Siketa Meats for coming to the rescue at the last minute.
Never Again, Newtown
