Local Lotto win claimed

The $10 million Oz Lotto prize won at Ocean Grove has been claimed.

The Victorian winner contacted Tatts today to solve the mystery of Australia’s newest Oz Lotto millionaire.

“I bought the ticket after a day at the beach because I was feeling lucky – I’m shell-shocked,” the winner said.

“I never expected to be calling myself a multi-millionaire.

“There are a million and one things I could do with the prize money. I’ll buy a new car and go on holiday and speak to a financial planner about the future.”

The winner has chosen to remain anonymous.

The division one winning Oz Lotto 12-game QuickPick entry was purchased from Ocean Grove Tatts and Cards.

Ocean Grove Tatts and Cards owner Blair Dawkins said he could think of his own list of things to do with $10 million.

“There’s such a buzz about this win around Ocean Grove. Every second person I’ve seen today has been asking if the Oz Lotto prize has been claimed,” Mr Dawkins said.
