A NORLANE man has died in hospital this morning after his car struck a tree before landing in an irrigation channel in Werribee South yesterday.
The 75-year-old was travelling south on Diggers Road when he lost control of the vehicle and left the road about 4.40am.
The man was taken to The Alfred hospital in a critical condition where he died early this morning.
