Elissa has winter all wrapped up

Frugal Friday

WRAPS , shawls, ponchos and capes: Do we really know the difference?
Of course we do – kind of – not excluding those of us who could confidently define each one perfectly, and good on you for doing so.
However, regardless of definitions, they all look great with different accessories and clothes and in slightly different ways.
Whilst on my travels in Geelong looking for bargain trendy winter clothes, I found just the thing.
A stylish ladies wrap, yes wrap, in Target Geelong.
In grey and white hounds-tooth design it was stylish, lovely and soft feeling and nice and long to wrap up warm in, just perfect for the cold winter days ahead.
There were other patterns to choose from, but this one caught my eye.
Accessories were endless in store too, from bags, to scarfs, to leather gloves to complete this outfit.
I spotted a gorgeous black clutch bag, with silver colour chain handle for only $7 in the sale.
Aside from the attractive price, it worked so well with the look, adding a modern twist, to quite a classic style of wrap.
Nearby was a trendy looking boucle Panama knit hat for $25, a must have accessory with this look to keep warm and look trendily cool all at the same time.
With casual or smart wear a knit panama is perfect to complete an outfit in the colder months of the year.
Hair up or down, the Panama hat is a classic, and will always look the business.
If you pop a pair of sunglasses on too (when it’s sunny of course) the outfit will look super.
Add a pair of gloves, in a neutral colour or as a way of introducing a brighter bolder colour of your choice.
Lastly I spotted a pair of really nice dark blue-rinse straight-leg jeans, in the essentials section for just $10, such a bargain. Jeans are always handy to have, and they work well with all types of outfits, especially this one.
Lots of jeans to choose from in store, and at that price you could get a couple of pairs.
Happy shopping in Target’s Geelong stores.
