GEELONG Highway Patrol officers are calling for public assistance after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Manifold Heights on Monday.
Investigators believe a 48-year-old North Geelong woman was crossing west on Shannon Avenue, at the intersection of Roxby Street, when she was hit by an unknown vehicle that was travelling north on Shannon Avenue about 5.15pm.
This vehicle did not stop at the scene.
The woman was then struck by a second vehicle turning right into Roxby Street and the driver stopped and assisted police.
The pedestrian was taken to Geelong Hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed either incident.
