Bikinis from Israel online

Karen Hart
SWIMWEAR designer Ben Israel gives new meaning to the itsy bitsy, teenie weenie, yellow polka dot bikini
The selfconfessed beachcomber said he had hit pay dirt in just seven weeks with his provocative range of Australian made bikinis, which he sells on his online shop at www.vividvixen.com.
And while the company’s micro bikinis and beach apparel don’t feature polka dots, they do include zebra and leopard prints as well as a range of bright, bold colours.
But the scant twopiece swimsuits leave little to the imagination.
“The designs stand out because they’re bright, alluring and they heighten the sense of romance and passion between couples,” Mr Israel said.
“They make a couple focus on each other and, of course, make the wearer feel both sexy and confident.”
The former triathlete, who runs Vivid Vixen from his Ocean Grove home, said he had 8000 customers on his database.
“It’s absolutely phenomenal. I have customers from 45 countries around the world, including America, Australia, Canada, Belgium, Portugal, Indonesia, the list goes on,” Mr Israel said.
He has plans to open a retail shop on the Bellarine Peninsula and to launch a lingerie range.
But what did his wife think of his new business?
“She loves it and is totally supportive of Vivid Vixen,” Mr Israel laughed.
“She’s my numberone customer.”
