Tickets selling fast to restaurant on pier

Jessica Benton
ORGANISERS are gearing up for a “seafood and entertainment extravaganza” over the sea at Queenscliff during Easter.
Organiser Scott Talbot said Charity Restaurant tickets were selling fast for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to dine on Queenscliff Pier.
“Tickets are still available but with less than 30 days left, until the event people need to be fast to secure tickets,” he said.
Charity Restaurant will serve lunches and dinners over six days in purpose-built marquees on the pier.
The 300-head sittings will raise money for charities, with the Independent to host a dinner on April 7 for Starlight Children’s Foundation Australia.
The all-inclusive lunches cost from $72 a head and dinner is from $120. The price covers seafood platters, beverages and entertainment.
Mr Talbot said discounts were available for 10 seat bookings. Charity Restaurant will run in conjunction with Queenscliff’s annual Good Friday seafood feast.
An inaugural Seafood Show on April 2 and 3 and industry days on April 6 and 7 will also run in conjunction with the restaurant.
Tax-deductible tickets for Charity Restaurant are available through www.charityrestaurant.com.au.
