A taxi driver has lost his licence after allegedly being caught drink-driving in Bellbrae this morning, according to Victoria Police
Police said they attended on Great Ocean Road around 5.10am following reports the taxi was being driven erratically.
Waurn Ponds members located the taxi after it allegedly hit a sign and burst a tyre.
The male driver was requested to attend the local police station for a breath test where he returned an evidentiary sample of 0.279%.
He is expected to be charged with numerous traffic offences including drive under the influence.
His licence was immediately suspended.
