A BOMB was discovered at Whittington this morning.
Bomb Response Unit police are rushing to a house in Coppards Rd after officers executing a warrant found a commercial explosive device in a bedroom, according to News Corp reports.
A 45-year-old Whittington man was arrested and police have closed roads and evacuated residents near the house.
Police described the device as a “danger to the community”.
The raid was the result of an ongoing investigation, police said.
The bomb scare follows the discovery of two men hacked to death at Whittington yesterday.
