A GEELONG communications and IT business is seeking challengers for its team in February’s Geelong Multi Sport Festival.
ConnectTel’s Tim Clark said the business was also keen to support festival community partner Give Where You Live.
“Now that we’ve entered, we’ve just got to get ourselves fit to do it,” he laughed.
“Participating in the Geelong Multi Sport Festival has the double benefit of raising funds for Give Where You Live and improving the fitness and health of our workplace.”
Tim said the ConnectTel team had entered the festival’s Geelong Enticer, an “achievable” triathlon.
“We chose it because it’s an entry-level event – we don’t have any triathletes amongst us.”
Tim encouraged other business to enter teams.
“Get on board and get the message out there because it’s all going to worthwhile charity.
“This looks like being a significant event for Geelong and it’s good for the region’s profile.”
The Independent is sponsoring the festival’s Superkidz Triathlon for children aged seven to 13.
More information and entry forms are available at geelongmultisport.com.au.
