Queenscliff gardens open to public

KEEN gardeners will be in for a treat when six magnificent Queenscliff gardens, including three never before opened to the public, all open on the same day this month.
The six gardens offer a mixture of traditional, formal, spring, Mediterranean, productive and ornamental featuring quirky sculptures and mosaics.
Among the properties are Suma Park, Gas House and Queenscliff Point Lonsdale Uniting Church manse garden.
Along with tours, the open gardens will offer plant stalls, lunches, Devonshire teas and coffee, while Gas House will also present an organ recital.
Proceeds from the open days on 17 October will support the work of Queenscliff Point Lonsdale Uniting Church.
