Man dies in wall collapse

A man has died after a brick wall fell on him in Belmont on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to a house in Culbin Avenue at 2.10pm on 31 May after receiving reports a fence had fallen on a man.
Police said they believed the man was working on a wall at the front of the property when it collapsed on him.
Paramedics attended but the man died at the scene. Police will prepare a report for the coroner and WorkSafe Victoria will investigate the incident.
Police are yet to notify next of kin.
