Dangerous rescue
Queenscliff Coast Guard has battled “dangerous” seas with five-metre waves to rescue the crew of a stricken yacht in Bass Strait.
A coast guard spokesperson said the rescuers spent almost eight hours on the mission before bringing the two sailors ashore after dark on Saturday.
