Philip kitted out for work with Buy Local win

Karen Hart
Woodwork teacher Philip Stockton is looking forward to using his new stateoftheart tool kit after winning this week’s Buy Local shoppers’ prize.
Mr Stockton won a $1000 Sidchrome tool kit and cabinet from Fagg’s Mitre 10 in South Geelong.
“This is the first time I’ve ever won anything,” he said.
The Belmont High School teacher entered the competition at Origin’s Geelong office when he purchased a heater.
“I totally forgot about it until I got the call to say I’d won and I was over the moon,” he said.
“It’s a great prize and it will come in very handy.”
Shoppers go into a weekly draw for prizes when they fill out entry forms after purchasing from stores displaying Buy Local signage.
Buy Local is a community campaign with the support of the Independent, aimed at helping keep shopping dollars in local tills.
