Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Moolap this evening.
Investigators have been told a car left Point Henry Road and crashed into a pole about 8.20pm.
Emergency services were quickly arrived at the crash but the male driver died at the scene.
A male passenger in the car has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
