Recent Geelong graduates from any discipline or background can apply to work on Victoria’s Big Build Graduate Program.
The State Government is looking for 100 new people who have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree to help with various projects during a two-year program.
Minister for transport and infrastructure Jacinta Allan said the project would be an excellent opportunity for people to get first-hand experience working on state-shaping projects.
“Victoria’s Big Build employs 50,000 people directly and indirectly and the best and brightest graduates are applying to be part of the team that is transforming the way Victorians travel,” she said.
“If you feel like you have something to offer and you’re keen to learn from industry experts across a wide range of disciplines, all while getting paid a competitive salary.”
Accepted applications will work on the Level Crossing Removal Project, Mayor Road Projects Victoria, North East Link Program, Rail Projects Victoria, or West Gate Tunnel Project.
Graduates must have completed a degree within the last year, be due to graduate by January 2024 to apply for the program or have started a master’s degree within 12 months of finishing a bachelor’s degree.
Successful applicants will develop technical and workforce skills, work alongside industry leaders and learn from experts that will help guide the next generation of talent.
Applications for the 2024 Victoria’s Big Build Graduate Program will close on Wednesday, March 22.
