Star delights waterfront crowd

Breakout global star Tones and I has thrilled fans with a surprise live performance at Geelong Waterfront.

Mayor Stephanie Asher said city workers, locals and visitors were treated to the pop-up performance at 10:30am today at Steampacket Gardens.

“After such a tough year, it’s a thrill to see a global star performing at our beautiful Waterfront,” the Mayor said.

“Tones and I is one of the world’s biggest musicians, which shows that Geelong is gaining a reputation for culture and music.

“Summer has well and truly arrived at Greater Geelong and there’s no better place to enjoy the warmer weather than our waterfront.

“Locals and visitors sang and danced along with the internationally renowned artist in a day that they will remember forever.”
