Missing Whittington man NT bound

A Whittington man who went missing almost a fortnight ago could be on his way to the Northern Territory, according to police.

Police on Monday released an image of missing man Michael Whiteside in hope of finding him.

The 33-year-old was last seen in Lino Ct, Whittington, on 17 August about 8.30am, police said.

They described Mr Whiteside as Caucasian in appearance, 183cm tall, with a medium build, short brown hair and brown eyes.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition.

“Michael may be headed towards the Northern Territory,” a police spokesperson said.

They urged anyone who sees Mr Whiteside or has information on his whereabouts to phone Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.
