A special menu-tasting has raised excitement over the biggest night of the year on Geelong’s business calendar.
The Pier executive chef Norbert Bell gave the tasty preview to organisers of next week’s Deakin University Geelong Business Excellence Awards, revealing each treat on the menu.
The team from Geelong Chamber of Commerce left The Pier thrilled with the samples and eager to return for Norbert’s full service.
“We’re very excited to share this menu with the business awards guests next Thursday,” one of the organisers said.
This year’s awards will recognise finalists and winners in 20 categories, with the overall winner named Business of the Year.
Last year’s presentation dinner hosted more than 600 guests, making the awards the region’s premier celebration of local business.
“It’s going to be another great night not to be missed,” said Tony Galpin, managing editor of awards print sponsor the Geelong Indy.
“I look forward to joining the other guests in acknowledging our best and brightest local operators.”
Tickets are available from the awards website, gbea.com.au.
