Police have charged a man with more than a dozen offences, including recklessly endangering life, after he crashed an allegedly stolen car on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old man was driving the allegedly stolen Holden station wagon when it collided with a Toyota sedan about 12am.
The driver attempted to flee on foot but police arrested him nearby.
Paramedics took the occupants of the Toyota to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police charged the man with:
• two counts of aggravated burglary,
• two counts of theft of a motor vehicle,
• four counts of theft from a motor vehicle,
• theft,
• two counts of driving in a manner dangerous,
• reckless conduct endangering life,
• reckless conduct endangering serious injury,
• unlicensed driving, and
• possessing methylamphetamine.
The man faced Geelong Magistrates’ Court where a magistrate remanded him in custody to appear again on 19 June.
