Knife terror in city

HOLD UP: Plain-clothes detectives investigate an attempted armed robbery at Bendigo Bank.

A man threatened Geelong bank staff with a knife and demanded cash before fleeing empty-handed in an attempted armed robbery this afternoon, police have alleged.
