A furry addition has brought even more life to the busy family household of Newtown’s Angie Hilton.
Teddy the groodle, a golden retriever-poodle cross, is more than just a pet for Angie, husband Braith Cox and their children, Scarlett and Sonny.
“A dog can change your life,” Angie tells the new edition of Geelong Coast magazine (GC).
“If you’re having a bad day Teddy’s right there beside you, letting you know you’re not on your own.”
And Teddy also comes with certain social benefits when out for his regular walks, Angie confides.
“I say how Teddy’s a chick magnet, so Braith likes walking him for the attention,” she laughs.
Angie and Teddy feature in a six-page GC spread on local people and their interesting pets, covering everything from snakes to parrots.
Other stories in the new edition include the revitalisation of central Geelong, the local man helping sustain supply of the world’s best chocolate, and the new life directions of radio personality Paula Kontelj.
GC will be available at good local newsagents next week.
