Model praised in house
A GEELONG MP has used State Parliament to praise a model.
Liberal Member for South Barwon Andrew Katos told the House of Representatives last week he was “delighted” to meet Sarah Czarnuch, who was competing in Miss Universe Australia.
She was an “inspiring ambassador for young women” and a “wonderful representative” for the region, he said.
Mr Katos told parliament he hoped Ms Czarnuch, a Deakin University student, would have a “positive career in modelling and public relations”.
Western Australia’s Renae Ayris won the Miss Universe Australia title in Melbourne last Friday.
