Noel and Jan bedding down success with icon Slumberworld

It’s hard to miss Slumberworld’s huge factory and retail building on Torquay Road at Grovedale, right beside the BP service station.
The bright red bedding logo is fast becoming a recognised Geelong icon, not only for quality but for cost-cutting, too.
“Making mattresses and selling them direct is great,” owner/operator Noel Primmer says.
Noel works alongside wife and business partner Jan.
“We make all kinds of mattresses right here on the premises from medium to high-grade quality, even the top-of-the-range Latex, and they are priced at wholesale prices which suit everyone,” Mr Primmer says.
Slumberworld also custom-makes caravan and truck mattresses to whatever size required.
“Our own qualified staff make them and customers can see first-hand exactly what goes into making them when they browse through the store,” Mr Primmer says.
“Other staff members are fully trained and experienced in bedding, and they’re always on the floor waiting to assist customers.”
Slumberworld also has a great range of accompanying bedroom furniture from tallboys, full length mirrors, bedsides and dressing tables. If customers spot any particular style of bed linen that they like, made up on one of their beds, Noel, Jan or one of their friendly staff are more than happy to help achieve the same great look.
If customers are looking for excellent quality provided by leading brands, woollen underlays, mattress protectors or pillows, Slumberworld also stocks these, as well as an extensive linen collection including quilt covers, bedspreads and sheets.
Their products also cater for allergenic or asthma sufferers and all their pricing is marked at very compatible prices. Slumberworld is open seven days, or phone 52 41108 and delivery of mattresses and/or bedding is always available.
