Detectives have charged a 16-year-old boy who allegedly stabbed a woman in an attempted armed robbery in Torquay on 22 February.
On Thursday police charged the youth from outside Geelong with attempted armed robbery, attempted car jacking, intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury and unlawful assault.
He has been bailed to appear at a Children’s Court in March.
Torquay Criminal Investigation Unit alleged the incident occurred at a car park on Bristol Road, with a woman sustaining a lower back injury.
