CFA investigators are working to determine the cause of a blaze which burnt a Geelong West property to the ground Wednesday night.
Duty officer for CFA District 7 Archie Conroy said investigators were still on site at noon yesterday (Thursday).
“We’re not sure yet if it’s a suspicious fire or not,” he said.
The fire destroyed the Pakington Street building owned by land surveyors Rodney Martin and Associates.
More than 30 fire fighters took roughly 45 minutes to get the fire under control after the CFA received a call about 11pm, Mr Conroy said.
Six trucks from Corio and Geelong attended the blaze and fire crews remained at the scene until 1.20am yesterday to check for “hot spots”, he said.
