FIZZ: Troy Brown, Jazz Nash, Andy Duke and “craft beer ambassador” Mathew Burns celebrated Geelong brewery Little Creatures’ first canned beer on Friday 30 September.
It was the first time the company has canned beer in its 16 years, Mathew said.
He said cans made the beer last longer by protecting it from oxygen and light, which cause beer to age. While the company was promoting the benefits of cans for storage, Mathew recommended pouring it into a glass to drink.
“If you can’t smell the beer you can’t taste it properly,” he said. 160064
