About 800 volunteers are needed to keep Avalon’s airshow flying, according to its chief.
Ian Honnery called for volunteers to begin registering for the event at Avalon Airport from 28 February to 5 March.
“Without them there would be no show,” he said.
Applicants had to be at least 18 and willing to undertake “a wide range of important duties” from aircraft operations to supervising car parks.
The trade-off would be “ultimate access to the event and an opportunity to play an important part in its success,” Mr Honnery said.
Next year’s event would run under the theme Air Power in Action, with an emphasis on military aircraft, he revealed.
“There will be jet fighters from home and abroad, bombers, heavy-lift aircraft and a large range of military helicopters.”
