A train has hit and killed a person at Geelong’s North Shore.
The incident has forced V/Line to suspended services between Waurn Ponds and Southern Cross.
V/Line said the line would be closed for the day.
Trains from Southern Cross were terminating early at Lara, V/Line said on its Twitter account.
Services from Lara to Southern Cross were running as usual.
V/Line advised customers to seek “alternative services”.
The death was some time around 6am today.
Police and other emergency services have yet to release further details.
