LEOPOLD’S Eleni Anastasopoulos has reached the national final of Miss Australia International 2016, with judging in Sydney on 7 November.
Ms Anastasopoulos said she entered mainly as a vehicle to continue her community work, with her fund-raising efforts focussed on Make A Wish Foundation.
“It’s about working with the community and fund-raising more than anything,” she said.
“It’s less about the person and more about making a difference.”
Ms Anastasopoulos also reached the finals of Australia’s Miss Teen Galaxy in 2014 after rasing $14,000 for Make A Wish.
“I like to do a different quest each year and learn different skills and meet different people,” she said.
Her final fund-raiser before judging will be a High Tea, 2pm Sunday, at Capri Receptions, North Geelong.
The former Belmont High School student plans to use her pageant experience to enter the fashion industry.
