MOTHER Nature will embrace thousands of visitors as Anglesea comes in full bloom for its annual wildflower and art show this weekend.
The coastal township with its spectacular scenery will put out its welcome mat both tomorrow and Sunday.
Winsome Coutts said the show attracted many return visitors, drawn back annually to see a stunning display of indigenous flowers that flourished in the area.
“We have such a diverse range of local Australian flowers and orchids growing in the district, they really are stunning.”
Ms Coutts said visitors were encouraged to take guided bus tours into the bushland.
“It allows the visitors to really see the flowers and orchids in their natural environment,” she said.
The show also attracts families with art and craft exhibitions and activities for children, while indigenous the plants sale was so popular organisers were forced to draw on emergency supplies.
