Police arrest man over Colac travel fraud claims

COLAC Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man following reports of fraud in Colac.

It is alleged the 28-year-old Colac man worked at a Colac travel agency and failed to make travel bookings after receiving payments from clients.

He was arrested at the Melbourne West police station about 11.15am today and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this afternoon on fraud related charges.
